The Intelligence Analyst is a senior subject matter expert with varied experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC) in technical and management roles. An individual in this position typically has decades of experience conducting analyses and research, preparing assessments of world events, developing and maintaining analytical procedures in collaboration with IC partners, and collecting data to support IC activities. A multi-INT background, with knowledge and expertise in HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, MASINT, and/or GEOINT, is crucial to the Intelligence Analyst’s ability to positively impact the customer’s mission in unique, innovative ways.
The Intelligence Analyst should be comfortable acting as an advisor to management and to the customer on advanced analytical and technical matters specific to the customer’s mission. They will help the team guide the development of advanced ideas into final products and/or briefings. This position demands a self-starter who can work independently and with the rest of the customer team to make professional connections within the customer organization and beyond to achieve progress toward long-range goals and objectives.
Basic qualifications for a Senior Intelligence Analyst are a Bachelor’s degree with ten (10) years of experience, Master’s degree with eight (8) years of experience, or a Ph.D. with five (5) years of experience. Because of the sensitive nature of some technical applications, the Intelligence Analyst should either have, or can obtain, a DOD Top Secret clearance. Other clearance requirements include a Single-Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access, and a Counter-Terrorism (CI) polygraph.
